This super-blousy top is an easy-to-make, self-drafted pattern based on 4 rectangles. It was a little more complicated to make because I chose a sheer fabric, but otherwise this was a great top for some quick sewing gratification!

I am getting to a point where stitching is starting to feel more like an art, and less like a hobby or craft - and I love it! This is a sampler using a very simple "rice stitch", but built up organically to give it more depth and texture.

These are my initial pattern samplers for a Blackwork Embroidery course by @GimenaRomero. They are far from perfect and I couldn't get all the appropriate materials because, ya know, quarantine, but you gotta work with what you've got!

We managed to squeak in a trip to CSU's Suffragist Fashion presentation and exhibit @avenirmuseum before self-quarantining - it was a great talk given by Dr. Einav Rabinovitch-Fox and the pieces in the exhibit were beautiful!
